The first steel rolling mill was established in the group in 2005. In 2011, Algioshy Group set up the Algioshy Steel Rolling Plant in 6th of October City, less than 40 km away from the huge industrial consumption centers in Cairo and Giza. Steel production started in 2015. By the beginning of 2016, Algioshy Steel Company was determined to increase its production from 250,000 tons per year It plans to reach one million tonnes per year, occupying an advanced position among the pioneers of the industry.
