Hisham Tawfiq, Minister of Public Business Sector, said that Delta Steel was developed to double the production capacity 5 times the current production.
The production capacity of the billet ovens has been developed to reach 250 thousand tons annually, so far.
The minister pointed out that the second stage of development begins this year to reach 10 times the current production 50 thousand tons annually which is the total original design capacity and the establishment of a new foundry.
The minister added that the total cost of developing the company is EGP 700 million .
