The Governor of Hadramaut, Major General Faraj Salmin Al-Bahsni, inaugurated the trial run the Al-Mukalla Iron and Steel Factory ( MISC ) in Al-Rayyan Region, Al-Mukalla.
The governor briefed on the progress of work at the factory, which is the largest industrial company in the iron and steel industry in Yemen, equipped with the best of technology and modern machinery from major international companies "Siemens".
The Governor, from the Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors, Omar Abdel-Rahman Bajarsh, listened to the components of the factory, which has a design capacity of the smelter unit of 150,000 tons annually of billet of different sizes starting from 100 mm to 200 mm, and the production capacity in the rolling unit is 300,000 tons annually of iron Reinforcing the size of 8 mm to 32 mm with a length of 12 meters , while the human capacity that the plant can accommodate in its various units (400 to 450) people.
