On Monday, March 2, the Libyan Iron and Steel Company reduced the prices of its products of rebar and bars of all sizes, so that the price of one ton of it became 2,232 dinars for wholesale, and 2,280 dinars for retail.

The director of the company's media office, Muhammad Al-Khamaria, said that the reason for the company's reduction in the prices of its product is due to two factors, which are the improvement of the production line and the relative stability of the company's supplies of electricity and natural gas, and the company's monitoring of the prices of competing products in the market, and its intention to provide an appropriate price.

It is noteworthy that the Libyan Iron and Steel Company in Misrata is one of the largest industrial companies in Libya, and its foundation stone was laid in September 1979.
