Arab Mining Company
Based on the Arab Economic Unity Council’s resolution which was adopted on 06/10/1975, the Arab Mining Company was established in order to strengthen cooperative relations between Arab countries in terms of investing in mineral wealth. This resolution would result in diverse economic investments in productivity and development projects. This cooperation is essential for achieving economic integration between member countries to accelerate their development.
On 01/02/1975, an agreement on the establishment of the Company as an Arab Joint stock company was signed, whereas Arab governments, or Arab companies and institutions determined by the relevant governments can invest. With headquarter in Amman/ Jordan; the Company’s Articles of Association were issued on 02/08/1975, allowing it to open several branches, agencies or offices in member’s corporation countries. Moreover, the Company is allowed to establish or contribute in the establishment of independent legal personality companies in the contributing countries or abroad.
