Australia’s Anti-Dumping Commission has announced the results of its review of the anti-dumping duties imposed on rebar imports from South Korea and Spain, which were scheduled to expire on November 19, 2025, according to SteelOrbis.
The review was initiated following an application submitted by the local producer InfraBuild, and it covered the period from October 1, 2023 to September 30, 2024. The commission concluded that removing the anti-dumping measures on rebar imports from the two countries would, or would likely, lead to the continuation or recurrence of dumping and the material injury that the measures are intended to prevent.
Based on its findings, the commission recommended maintaining the duties while revising their rates as follows:
