Oil prices continued their upward trend, and Brent crude futures rose more than $7 to $105.07 a barrel. Oil prices in US crude futures also rose by more than $7, reaching $99.10 a barrel. Oil prices have crossed the $100 threshold since last Thursday, when Brent crude futures rose more than $4 to record $101.03 a barrel, the highest level since August 2014.
