CISA: China’s daily steel production decreased in mid-December

China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) has announced that in mid-December of this year, the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China – all CISA members – totalled 1.9638 million mt, down 1.15 per cent compared to early December this year.

In early December, the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China totalled 1.9867 million mt, down 2.06 per cent compared to late November this year.

Inventory levels in the Chinese steel market increased in the given period.

As of December 20, the finished steel inventories of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China amounted to 15.9901 million mt, rising by 4.23 per cent compared to December 10.
