Egypt: 20 million pounds of Iron and Steel Company for Mines and Quarries sales in last May

The Iron and Steel Company for Mines and Quarries announced that it achieved total sales during the month of May of 19.87 million pounds. The company explained, in a statement to the Egyptian Stock Exchange, that sales of Bahariya Oasis mines in May amounted to 19.86 million pounds. The company added that the value of sales from the Bani Khaled-Samalout quarries recorded about 12.13 thousand pounds. It is noteworthy that iron and steel for mines and quarries recorded profits after taxes amounting to 113.255 million pounds, during the period from July until the end of March 2024, compared to 97.76 million pounds in the comparative period. The company recorded revenues worth 252.579 million pounds during the period from July until the end of last March, compared to 217.5 million pounds in the comparative period of the previous fiscal year.
