Egypt cancels the ban on exporting stainless steel scrap and imposes a fee of 3,500 pounds per tonne

The Egyptian Ministry of Industry and Trade decided to cancel Resolution No. 190 of 2022 banning the export of stainless steel scrap, and imposing an export fee of 3,500 pounds per ton.

According to the text of the decision, scrap and waste of stainless steel alloys, customs item 7204.21, shall be deleted from the table contained in Article 1 of Ministerial Resolution No. 190 of 2022 referred to, with the imposition of an issued fee of 3,500 pounds per tonne.
