EU rebar import quota for turkey almost used up

Turkey has nearly used up its entire rebar quota, which has been allocated to it for the July-September period. So far, Turkish exporters have shipped about 91% to 69,939 tonnes to the EU as of July 8.

As for the wire rod quota, Turkey exported about 83% to 66,399 tonnes. According to the European Commission data.

Conferring to the European Commission’s adjustments of EU quotas, starting from July 1, quota volumes are being managed quarterly, resulting in the fast depletion of quotas for certain products from certain countries.
