Libyan Iron and Steel Company announced the resumption of operations of the hot rolling mill furnace, after a week-long break, including 05 days, to cool it down to be a suitable environment for work inside it, and as a result, the workers at the factory began removing the deposits inside it, as well as restoring some thermal aspects.

Starting the operation of the plant requires that the furnace temperature reaches 1250 ° C, as it is expected that the hot-rolling plant will reach its production of surfaces with the thicknesses specified by the Production Planning Department as before.

The company indicated in its statement that the return of the hot rolling mill to its activity in the production of hot rolled coils will contribute to covering the needs of the market as it witnesses an increasing demand, especially in this period.
