The Board of Directors of the Arab Iron Steel Union, headed by Engineer Ahmed Ezz, in its regular session in the Algiers capital on January 26, 2026, approved new applications for membership in the union, as two steel manufacturing companies were accepted for membership: Iraq Mas Company for Iron and Steel Industry, and Saudi Solb Steel Company.
“Iraqi Mas” Company was established in 2011, and it is a limited liability company working in the field of iron and steel production, especially the manufacture of billets and rebar of various sizes. Its subscribed capital amounts to about $1.3 billion, its production volume reaches 250 thousand tons annually, its sales reach about $300 million, and it employs 620 employees. It is represented on the Board of Directors by Mr. Bilal Omar Ismail.
As for the Saudi Solb Steel Company, it was established in 2008 as a joint stock company working in the field of iron and steel production, and its production capacity reaches more than one million tons annually, including 500 thousand tons of rebar and 500 thousand tons of wire coils, which reflects its ability to meet the needs of the local and regional markets according to the highest quality standards. The company's subscribed capital is about two billion dollars, its production volume reaches 700 thousand tons annually, its sales reach 650 thousand tons, it employs 550 employees, and its board of directors is headed by Mr. Misfer bin Hamad bin Misfer Al Hajri.Top of Form.
