Metallurgical Industries Holding
MIH operates as a holding company which through its subsidiaries, produces aluminum, steel bars and wires, ferrosilicon alloys, glass, iron products, mining products and steel pipes among other commodities.
MIH was established by the Presidential Decree No. 429 of 1983 under the name of the Public Sector Authority for Metallurgical Industries, in accordance with the provisions of the Public Sector Companies Law No. 203 of 1991 and its executive regulations.
The company achieved turnover EGP 19,6 billion (1,2 billion Dollars) for the Fiscal year 2018/2019
The Metallurgical Industries Holding Owns 15 subsidiaries companies. The total exports amounting to EGP 11.2 billion (690 million Dollars). MIH also has direct investments in 12 joint-stock companies.
