Within a list that includes the largest producers whose production exceeds 3 million tons annually of crude steel, the World Steel Association announced its list of the largest steel producing companies in the world for the year 2025.
The results showed that Ezz Steel continued to maintain its position as the largest steel producer in the Arab world for the third year in a row, with a production of 6.4 million tons.
The Saudi “Hadeed” Company came in second place in the Arab world with a production of 6.1 million tons, followed by the “Emirates Steel” Company in the United Arab Emirates in third place with a production of 3.4 million tons.
This achievement reflects the strength of the industrial base that Arab companies have adopted over decades, and their continued investment in modern technology and operational excellence, which has enabled them to maintain their position among the world’s major steel producers, despite the challenges witnessed by global markets and the rapid transformations that the industry is going through.
These results highlight the pivotal role played by the Arab steel industry, which contributes to strengthening its presence in global markets.
