Partnership Agreement Between Algeria and Italy to Establish a New Rebar Production Unit at Al Solb

The Algerian Ministry of Industry announced the signing of several partnership agreements between Algeria and Italy in the presence of the CEOs of the relevant institutions. Four major industrial agreements were signed under the supervision of the Ministry of Industry. Among these agreements was an agreement between the National Steel Company (SNS) and the Italian company Danieli to build a new rebar production unit. The Ministry stated in a statement that the agreement includes "the supply of additional equipment, the completion of engineering works, and the installation and commissioning of a new rolling mill at AL SOLB (formerly SIDER El Hadjar complex), with a production capacity of 800,000 tons of rebar, increasing AL SOLB's production to 1.4 million tons annually."
