He explained that the summit is expected to witness broad participation including major iron and steel producers, mining companies, representatives of international economic and financial institutions, and suppliers of technology and industrial services, in addition to a number of senior officials, experts, and specialists from various countries around the world.

The summit is organized by the Arab Iron and Steel Union, one of the specialized Arab organizations affiliated with the Council of Arab Economic Unity of the League of Arab States, which was established in 1972. It includes in its membership more than 50 companies representing 16 Arab countries and works to support and develop the iron, steel, and mining industries and enhance cooperation and integration among Arab companies operating in the sector.

Through its specialized sessions and workshops, the summit will discuss a range of strategic issues related to the future of the Arab iron and steel industry, foremost among them being energy and supply chain challenges, in addition to the increasing repercussions of trade barriers and protectionist measures in global steel markets, as well as reviewing the latest industrial and digital technologies and solutions, and strengthening Arab and international partnerships to support the competitiveness and sustainable growth of the Arab industry.

The summit also includes a comprehensive program of dialogue sessions, workshops, and bilateral meetings between companies, in addition to an accompanying exhibition in which a number of Arab and international companies specialized in the iron and steel, mining, technology, and industrial services industries will participate, providing ample opportunities for networking, building partnerships, and exploring investment and joint cooperation opportunities.
