The decline in Turkey's exports of HR flats to the regions of the world and its increase in the Arab countries

In October this year, Turkey's HR flats exports decreased by 49.4% year-on-year to 141,059 tonnes, according to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). From January to October this year, Turkey's HR flats exports reached 1.588 million tonnes, a decrease of 23.9% compared to last year. Despite the decline in Turkey's HR flats exports to the world regions, it increased in the Arab countries, as five Arab countries appeared among the top ten importing countries in that period, with 536 000 tonnes, about a third of the export volume. In the specified period, Italy was the largest importer, with a volume of 238,248 tonnes, with a decrease of 53.5%, followed by Egypt with 194,936 tonnes, an increase of 256%. Iraq came in third place with 154,444 tonnes, an increase of 108.4%, and Tunisia ranked sixth with 90,920 tonnes, an increase of 36.1%. Algeria ranked ninth with 50,629 tonnes, an increase of 63.3%.
