Türkiye’s cold-rolled flat steel imports increased by 24.3% in February

In February this year, Türkiye’s cold-rolled steel flat imports(CRC) amounted to 57,296 tonnes, an increase of 4.5 per cent compared to February last year and a decrease of 17.2 per cent compared to January 2023, according to preliminary data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).

In terms of value, the total revenues from these imports amounted to $43.9 million, a decrease of 23.8 per cent compared to February last year and a decrease of 15 per cent compared to January.

Meanwhile, from January to February this year, Türkiye’s cold-rolled flat steel (CRC) imports amounted to 126,485 tonnes, an increase of 24.3 per cent over the January-February period of last year.

While the total revenues from these imports during that period amounted to $95.5 million, a decrease of 11.9 per cent compared to the same period last year.
