Türkiye’s wire rod exports decreased by 60.2% during the January-April period

In April this year, Türkiye’s wire rod exports amounted to 26,849 tonnes, down by 17.8% compared to March and up 72.8% year on year, according to preliminary data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). Meanwhile, the total revenue generated from these exports was $19.7 million, down 18.2% compared to March and up 77.3% year-on-year. From January to April this year, Türkiye’s wire rod exports amounted to 155,904 tonnes, down by 60.2% compared to the same period last year, while the total revenue generated by these exports amounted to $111.96 million, down by 65.2% year on year.
