Introduction:

Humans are part of the ecological system and therefore affect the environment through human intervention to reduce harmful pollutants. This has led scientists to search for ways and means to reduce the volume of environmental pollutants, control the quality of some of them, manage them and limit their effects.

Course target:

Introduce participants to the optimal methods for reducing environmental pollutants and controlling them.

  • Principles of the environmental monitoring plan.
  • Components of the environmental monitoring plan.
  • Objectives and expected results of environmental monitoring.
  • Activity planning and scheduling for implementation.
  • Defining indicators monitored to achieve objectives.
  • Designing an appropriate programme for analyses and measurements.
  • Data analysis and issuing periodic bulletins and annual reports.
  • Following up decisions and developing environmental monitoring.
  • Assessing monitoring capabilities available at the facility.
